How will I know if my order has been received?

We confirm all received orders by email or fax, and notify you again once your order has been dispatched. If your purchasing department is placing the order on your behalf, then please ask them to include your name and email address within the order so that this information is communicated directly with you.

Can you provide a quotation?

We are happy to provide quotations, please email us at orders@antibodies.com specifying the products that you require.

How can I place an order?

You can place your order online through our website or you can place an order offline via telephone, fax or email.

What information do I need to provide for my order?

In order to process your order we require:

  • Product code(s) and size(s) of the item(s) you require (e.g. 12764, 50µl)
  • Your name, email address / fax number and telephone number (so we can contact you if we have a query)
  • Shipping address and billing address
  • Purchase Order Number or credit card
How can I pay?

You can either pre-pay your order online using a credit card or you can pay on delivery. If you choose to pay on delivery, all payment details will be outlined on the invoice. The invoice will be sent to the billing address you provide, and can be different to the shipping address for the products.

What is a Purchase Order Number?

Most institutions assign a Purchase Order Number (PON) to each order that is sent to a supplier. The supplier then includes this PON on the associated invoice, enabling the institutions administration to easily confirm that the invoice is valid. Therefore, we recommend obtaining a PON from your institution to include with your order.

Do you charge VAT?

Our prices are exclusive of VAT and VAT only applies to customers in the European Union.

For customers within the UK we must charge VAT unless your organisation is VAT exempt. In which case, we require a copy of your VAT exemption certificate along with your order. Please check with your purchasing department for more information, and send across the certificate by email (orders@antibodies.com) or fax (01223 281 447).

For European Union customers, outside of the UK, we must charge VAT unless your organisation is VAT registered and you provide us with your VAT number along with the order. Please also include the country code prefix to the VAT number.

What are the advantages of buying online?

There are several advantages to buying online including:

  • Speed - ordering online enables us to process your order faster.
  • Immediate order confirmation – if any details are incorrect you can inform us immediately, preventing any unnecessary delays.
  • Fast and easy re-ordering – your details are saved for future purchases.
What are your shipping charges?

We offer flat rate shipping and packing charges within the UK of £20 and elsewhere in Europe of £35.

Is the product in stock?

Please contact us directly to establish whether a product is in stock.

When do you ship?

All in-stock orders, received Monday to Friday before 14:00 GMT, are dispatched on the same day. Out of-stock orders are dispatched the day they are restocked. Please contact us to establish an accurate date of delivery for these items.

Where do you ship to?

We can ship worldwide, if you are ordering outside of Europe please contact us to establish shipping costs and transit times.

How long is the transit time?

For our European customers we ship for next day delivery. For other parts of the world, depending on geographic location, delivery time is between 2-4 days.

Does the transit time affect the product?

Storing antibodies at various temperatures (up to 40°C) for one week does not affect their activity. As a precautionary measure, we ship all products in foam-insulated packaging with icepacks to provide extra temperature stability in transit. The icepacks may be thawed when you receive the shipment, please be assured that this is normal and your product(s) are safe to use. Once you have received your product(s), please follow the long-term storage instructions on the product datasheet(s).

What is your return and replacement policy?

Quality is very important to us. If a product fails to work as specified on the datasheet, please contact us immediately. We will investigate your protocol to determine whether the issue is protocol related or product related. If the issue turns out to be product related, we will offer you either a replacement or refund.
