Principle of Assay
Caspase 9 Assay Kit (Colorimetric) is based on the hydrolysis of the peptide substrate Ac-LEHD-pNA (acetyl-Leu-Glu-His-Asp p-nitroanilide) by caspase 9, resulting in the release of the p-nitroaniline (pNA), which can be quantified using a spectrophotometer or a microtiter plate reader at 405 nm.
