Principle of Assay
Phosphofructokinase catalyzes formation of fructose-1,6-diphosphate and ADP from fructose-6-phosphate and ATP. Coupled enzymatic reactions consume NADH, and the decrease in absorbance at 340 nm is used to calculate enzyme activity.
