Flow cytometry–optimized kit for detecting respiratory-active microorganisms.
Applications
Flow Cytometry, FACS, Functional Assays, Flow Cytometry, Bacterial Staining Kits for Life Science Research
Principle of Assay
CTC reduction to fluorescent CTC-formazan occurs in metabolically active bacteria. The fluorescence signal is quantified at the single-cell level by flow cytometry.
Storage
Store at +4°C. Do not use past expiration date!

Flow cytometry analysis of CTC fluorescence (CTC-A). Compared with control and enhancer (-) conditions, enhancer (+) treatment for 60 min shifts the population to higher fluorescence (P2), indicating increased detection of metabolically active cells.
CTC staining assessed by flow cytometry after 60 min. Enhancer (+) markedly increases the high-fluorescence population (P2) relative to control and enhancer (-), demonstrating enhanced detection sensitivity.
Representative histograms of CTC fluorescence showing a pronounced shift to the P2 region following enhancer (+) treatment, compared with minimal change in control and enhancer (-) samples.
Flow cytometric evaluation of CTC staining efficiency. Enhancer (+) treatment significantly increases the proportion of cells in the high-fluorescence gate (P2), whereas control and enhancer (-) samples remain predominantly in P1.
