Name
Biotinylation Kit
Description
Antibody Biotinylation Kit for IHC, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, and immunoprecipitation applications using purified carrier protein-free antibodies.
Applications
IHC, ICC/IF, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, WB, IP
Recommended Dilutions
Use with 25–100 µg antibody per reaction. Recommended minimum antibody concentration: 0.2 mg/ml for 100 µg reactions.
Assay Type
Antibody Labeling Assay
Principle of Assay
The Biotinylation Kit an efficient method of generating highly pure biotinylated antibodies. Your chosen antibody is first mixed with the reaction buffer and immobilized to resin within a spin column. The biotinylation reagent is then added and the antibody biotinylation reaction takes place on the resin. After washing, the pure biotinylated antibody is eluted from the resin, with the whole process taking approximately 1 hour. The kit is compatible with antibodies from any host species.
Platform
IHC, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation
Sample Type
Antibodies, Purified Antibodies, Primary Antibodies, Cell Lysates, Tissue Lysates, Serum, Plasma
Assay Time
Approximately 1 hour
