Description
This kit for DNA quantification is optimized for Qubit® fluorometers featuring high sensitivity (HS) and a measurements range from 10 pg/µl to 100 ng/µl.The kit includes the concentrated QuDye HS assay reagent, dilution buffer, and DNA standards (0 and 10 ng/µl). The assay is selective towards dsDNA (double-stranded DNA) over RNA and is accurate for initial sample concentrations from 10 pg/µl to 100 ng/µl. The experiment is performed at room temperature and the signal is stable for 3 hours. The assay tolerates contaminants like salts, free nucleotides, detergents, or proteins. This kit simply requires the dilution of the reagents and buffer concentrates before you can start your measurements. The Qubit® instrument is able to read samples of about 200 µl. For sample preparation mix 180-199 µl of the QuDye HS working solution and 1-20 µl of the DNA sample to be quantified.
