Description
When excited at 680nm, Streptavidin Fluorescent Beads 680/615 generate a bright chemiluminescence detectable at 615nm. Since they are embedded with a very bright Eu3+ chelate, these beads can emit intense fluorescence when excited around 340nm (detectable using Fluorescence Intensity or Time Resolved Fluorescence modes). Streptavidin Fluorescent Beads 680/615 are are used to capture biotinylated binding partners (e.g. peptides, proteins, etc.) through high (fM) affinity prevailing between biotin and Streptavidin. These beads can be used to directly replace HRP labeled Streptavidin during straightforward ELISA conversion to FLISAs (Fluorescent Linked Immunosorbent Assay).
