Principle of Assay
Universal Peroxidase ELISA Kit (A303888) is a 20 minute enzyme catalysis assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of universal Peroxidase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. This assay utilizes an enzyme catalysis detection method in which Peroxidase activity in the sample catalyses a colour-producing reaction. The intensity of the colour produced is directly proportional to the amount of Peroxidase present in the sample. Absorbance is measured using a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Peroxidase is determined by comparison with a standard curve. This assay has a detection range of 3.12–200 pmol/mL with a sensitivity of 1.875 pg/mL.
