Cyanine 5

Cyanine 5 is a red  near infrared fluorescent dye, which has low background, high  fluorescence intensity and  good stability. Cyanine 5 is often used in biomolecular markers, fluorescence imaging and other fluorescent bioanalysis, such as labeling of polypeptide, protein and nucleic acid.  When combined with protein, the fluorescence intensity is significantly enhanced.

646 nm. Can be changed within 2-5 nm depending on solvent.

662 nm. Can be changed within 2-5 nm depending on solvent.
