The PMA + Ionomycin T Cell Stimulant for ELISpot is an in vitro reagent commonly used to activate T cells. PMA activates protein kinase C (PKC), triggering downstream signaling pathways that lead to protein expression and T cell activation, while Ionomycin, a calcium ionophore, increases intracellular Ca²? levels to further enhance PKC activation.
