ProteOrange Protein Quantification Reagent

This reagent is a cost-efficient way to perform high throughput protein quantitation in well plates. This reagent is recommended for quantitating purified protein or antibody samples when performing many experiments daily with the same calibration. The ProteOrange dye has low tolerance to non-ionic detergents, and is not recommended for use with cell lysates containing Triton X-100, sodium deoxycholate. The assay can tolerate up to 0.01% SDS (in final concentration). The unique structure of the ProteOrange reagent allows accurate detection of proteins in solutions with concentrations between 10 ng/ml and 10 µg/ml . This level of sensitivity is considerably better than that achieved with the BCA method, Bradford assay, Lowry assay, or absorption measurements at 280 nm.
