A defined set of inorganic sodium polysulfides representing biologically relevant reactive sulfur species (RSS). These compounds serve as hydrogen sulfide–derived sulfur donors and are used to study sulfane sulfur signaling, redox biology, and protein persulfidation mechanisms.
