Name
Human Alpha-fetoprotein ELISA Kit
Description
Human Alpha-fetoprotein ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Alpha-fetoprotein in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma.
Assay Type
Sandwich (quantitative)
Principle of Assay
Human AFP ELISA Kit is based on the quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technique to measure concentration of human AFP in the samples. A monoclonal antibody specific for human AFP has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells for the first incubation. After washing away any unbound substances, a HRP-linked detect antibody specific for AFP is added to the wells. After washing, substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of AFP bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
