Human C Reactive Protein ELISA Kit is a hrp antibody Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (hELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human C Reactive Protein in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Sandwich (quantitative)

Human C Reactive Protein ELISA Kit (A334975) employs HRP antibody sandwich ELISA for the quantitative measurement of human C Reactive Protein in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Capture antibody specific for C Reactive Protein is pre-coated on a 96-well microtiter plate. Samples and standards are added, and C Reactive Protein binds to the immobilized antibody. Detection is performed using HRP-conjugated detection antibody, which binds to a different epitope on the captured target. Following another wash, TMB substrate solution produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of C Reactive Protein captured, and the concentration is determined by reading O.D. at 450nm.
