Principle of Assay
Human Anti-Epstein Barr Virus Capsid Antigen IgA ELISA Kit (A326536) employs an enzyme immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human Anti-Epstein Barr Virus Capsid Antigen IgA in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The 96-well microtiter plate is coated with capture antibodies or antigens specific for Anti-Epstein Barr Virus Capsid Antigen IgA. Samples are added and incubated, followed by washing and addition of enzyme-conjugated detection molecules. TMB substrate is added to produce a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after acidic stop solution. The presence or absence of yellow color indicates the presence or absence of Anti-Epstein Barr Virus Capsid Antigen IgA in the sample.
