Human IgA2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human IgA2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids.
Assay Type
Sandwich (quantitative)
Principle of Assay
Human IgA2 ELISA Kit (A76753) employs HRP antibody sandwich ELISA for the quantitative measurement of human IgA2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. Capture antibody specific for IgA2 is pre-coated on a 96-well microtiter plate. Samples and standards are added, and IgA2 binds to the immobilized antibody. Detection is performed using HRP-conjugated detection antibody, which binds to a different epitope on the captured target. Following another wash, TMB substrate solution produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of IgA2 captured, and the concentration is determined by reading O.D. at 450nm.
