Monkey hepatitis A virus-Immunoglobulin M ELISA Kit (A335249) employs an enzyme immunoassay for the qualitative detection of monkey hepatitis A virus-Immunoglobulin M in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The 96-well microtiter plate is coated with capture antibodies or antigens specific for hepatitis A virus-Immunoglobulin M. Samples are added and incubated, followed by washing and addition of enzyme-conjugated detection molecules. TMB substrate is added to produce a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after acidic stop solution. The presence or absence of yellow color indicates the presence or absence of hepatitis A virus-Immunoglobulin M in the sample.
