Principle of Assay
This Monkey INS ELISA Kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Monkey INS.
An antibody specific for INS has been coated on a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and the INS present in each sample is bound to the wells by the immobilised antibody. The wells are washed and Anti-INS Antibody (Biotin) is added. After washing away the unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted into the wells. The wells are washed again, before a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and colour develops in proportion to the amount of INS bound. The Stop Solution changes the colour from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the colour is measured at 450 nm.
