Principle of Assay
Mouse Ovalbumin Specific IgG3 ELISA Kit (A335191) is based on Capture ELISA technology for the quantitative measurement of mouse Ovalbumin Specific IgG3 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. An antibody specific for Ovalbumin Specific IgG3 has been pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Samples and standards are added to the plate and incubated. After washing with wash buffer, the appropriate detection reagent (e.g., HRP-conjugated antigen or streptavidin) is added and incubated. Following another wash step, TMB substrate solution is used to visualize the enzymatic reaction by catalysis to produce a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Ovalbumin Specific IgG3 that has been captured on the plate. The concentration of Ovalbumin Specific IgG3 can then be calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.
