Validation of 5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 6 (5HT6 Receptor) by Western blot in transfected HEK293 cells. Lysates from native HEK293 cells (MOCK) or those stably expressing 5HT6 Receptor were immunoblotted using the phosphorylation-independent anti-5HT6 Receptor antibody (A334487) at a 1:1000 dilution.
Verification of 5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 6 (5HT6 Receptor) antibody by immunohistochemistry in the medial septum. Brain sections were dewaxed, treated with citric acid in a microwave, and incubated either without (left panel) or with (right panel) the peptide used to generate anti-5HT6 Receptor antibody (A334487). Sections were stained with anti-5HT6 Receptor antibody (A334487) at 1:100, followed by biotinylated anti-rabbit IgG and avidin-biotin solution, then developed with 3,3-diaminobenzidine (DAB)-glucose oxidase and counterstained lightly with hematoxylin. 5HT6 Receptor receptors were uniformly observed at the plasma membrane in sections without peptide incubation.
