ADIPOR1 is a 375 amino acid ㅣ kDa multipass transmembrane protein and receptor for adiponectin (UniProt: Q96A54).Recognizes an epitope within the N-terminal region of Adiponectin Receptor protein 1. AdipoR1 is implicated in metabolic pathways, mediating increased fatty acid oxidation and glucose uptake by adiponectin. The expression of AdipoR1 in adipose tissue is decreased in obese humans, whilst weight loss results in increased expression.Goat anti ADIPOR1 antibody is reported as suitable for use in immunocytochemistry of acetone fixed cells.
