Mouse monoclonal [AB03/2F11] antibody to AMPK beta 2 / PRKAB2.
Specificity
This antibody recognises 5'-AMP-activated protein kinase subunit beta-2, also known as PRKAB2.AMPK BETA 2 is part of the serine/threonine kinase family and is expressed in the liver and skeletal muscle. AMPK has been seen to inhibit cellular proliferation and in turn act as a tumor suppressor. This has particularly been seen in liver, lung and colorectal cancer.

General Notes
Mouse anti human AMPK BETA 2 antibody, clone AB03/2F11 recognizes 5'-AMP-activated protein kinase subunit beta-2, also known as PRKAB2.AMPK BETA 2 is part of the serine/threonine kinase family and is expressed in the liver and skeletal muscle. AMPK has been seen to inhibit cellular proliferation and in turn act as a tumor suppressor. This has particularly been seen in liver, lung and colorectal cancer (Li et al. 2015).
