Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using Anti-Angiotensinogen Antibody (A90383) at 1:1,000 dilution. The secondary antibody was Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L Antibody (HRP) at 1:10,000 dilution. Lysates/proteins were present at 25µg per lane. The blocking buffer used was 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST. Detection was with a ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

Protein expression of key renin-angiotensin system (RAS) components in MCF-7 breast cancer cells under different treatment conditions. MCF-7 cells were treated for 48 h with liquorice root extract (LRE; 0.1 mg/mL), conditioned medium from preadipocytes (preAdip-CM), mature adipocytes (matAdip-CM), or LRE-treated mature adipocytes (matAdip + LRE-CM), and compared with untreated control cells (CTL). Protein expression of angiotensinogen and renin was assessed by Western blot using Anti-Angiotensinogen Antibody (A90383) and Anti-REN Antibody (A101593) (Antibodies.com), respectively, with GAPDH used as a loading control.
