Mouse monoclonal [a38b2] antibody to CD6 / T12 (PE).
Specificity
This antibody recognises the porcine homologue of human CD6.Porcine CD6 is expressed exclusively on T-lymphocytes, clone a38b2 recognises an epitope on T-lymphocytes which is not present on either monocytes or B-cells. Clone a38b2 immunoprecipitates a monomeric protein of ~150 kDa from an activated T-cell lysate. Clone a38b2 binds to different epitope from clone MIL8 (MCA1221GA) on porcine CD6 due to their total lack of reciprocal binding to CD6 expressing cells.
