Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to CXCL1 / GRO alpha.
Specificity
This antibody recognises rat CXCL1 also known as GRO1 and CINC-1, an ~8 kDa cytokine which promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation and is expressed predominantly by monocytes after activation, but is also expressed by fibroblasts, endothelial cells, synovial cells and several tumour cell lines.

Reconstitute with 0.1 ml of distilled water. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Gently mix after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended. For functional studies do not add sodium azide

Storage
Lyophilized: Store at -20°C. Reconstituted: Store undiluted at -20°C, avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
