This antibody recognises CXXC finger protein 4, also known as inhibition of the DVL and axin complex protein.CXXC4 is a 36 kDa protein that acts as a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway through its interaction with dishevelled (DVL1). CXXC4 is thought to regulate DNA demethylation. Inhibition of CXXC4 has been linked to various cancers, including malignant renal cell carcinoma.
