This antibody recognises cysteine-rich angiogenic inducer 61 (CYR61) also known as insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 10 (IGFBP-10/ IBP-10). CYR61 interacts with integrin receptors thereby regulating a variety of processes including cell proliferation and cell adhesion. CYR61 has also been shown to play a role in angiogenesis, inflammation and chemotaxis.
