This antibody recognises forkhead box protein M1, also known as M-phase phosphoprotein 2 or MPM-2 reactive phosphoprotein 2.FOXM1 is a member of the FOX family of transcription factors and plays a key role in cell cycle progression, maintenance of chromosomal segregation and genomic stability. In humans, aberrant levels of FOXM1 have been observed in a number of cancers, including basal cell carcinoma and cancers of the liver , lung and colon.
