This antibody recognises guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(I)/G(S)/G(T) subunit beta-1, otherwise known as transducin beta chain 1.GNB1 forms heterotrimeric complexes with G protein subunits a and ?. Mutations in the gene encoding GNB1 result in GNB1 syndrome; with symptoms including developmental delay, hypotonia and epilepsy (Steinrücke et al. 2016). The targeting of GNB1 with microRNA miR-545-3P has been shown to inhibit the progression of some cancers including colon cancer and retinoblastoma (Hu et al. 2022; Tang et al. 2022). Mouse anti Human GNB1 antibody detects a band of 33 kDa.
