This antibody recognises growth factor receptor-bound protein (GRB) 14, also known as GRB14 adapter protein.GRB14 is an adapter molecule of the GRB7/10/14 family. GRB14 has been shown to inhibit insulin receptor (IR) catalytic activity and mediate peptide substrate binding. Members of this GRB family have also been shown to interact with other kinases through their SH2 domain. GRB14 is thought to play a role in the regulation of receptor signaling and modulation of thyroid cancer progression.

General Notes
Mouse anti human GRB14 antibody, clone I01-10B4 recognizes growth factor receptor-bound protein (GRB) 14, also known as GRB14 adapter protein.GRB14 is an adapter molecule of the GRB7/10/14 family. GRB14 has been shown to inhibit insulin receptor (IR) catalytic activity and mediate peptide substrate binding. Members of this GRB family have also been shown to interact with other kinases through their SH2 domain. GRB14 is thought to play a role in the regulation of receptor signaling and modulation of thyroid cancer progression (Balogh et al. 2012).
