Rabbit polyclonal antibody to HIF-1 beta.

This antibody recognises aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator (encoded by the gene ARNT), also known as hypoxia-inducible factor 1-beta (HIF1-beta) or bHLHe2. ARNT is a member of the bHLH PAS (basic helix-loop-helix Per-ARNT-Sim) family of transcription factors. ARNT forms complexes with either hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1 alpha) or aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), ARNT is involved in the adaptive response to stress caused by dioxins and hypoxia.

Approximately 87 kDa in cell lysates under reducing conditions. Rabbit anti ARNT antibody also appears to detect a modified form of ARNT at a higher molecular weight.
