Name
Anti-IL-36 gamma / IL-1F9 Antibody - BSA and Azide free
Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to IL-36 gamma / IL-1F9.
Specificity
This antibody recognises interleukin-36 gamma (IL-36 gamma) also known as IL-1 related protein 2, IL-1 epsilon, IL-1 family member 9 and IL-1 homologue 1. IL-36 gamma is a member of the IL-1 superfamily of cytokines and elicits its biological function through the IL-1 receptor-related protein 2. Activation of this receptor can lead to the activation of the NF-?B, MAPK, JNK and ERK signaling cascades. In this way, IL-36 gamma is able to act as a proinflammatory cytokine, with the exact biological function dependent on the type and site of inflammation.
