This antibody recognises nuclear factor of activated T-cells, cytoplasmic 2.NFATC2 is a 100 kDa member of the nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) family normally located to the cytosol. However, upon T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation NFATC2 is translocated to the nucleus where it becomes a member of the Nuclear factors of activated T cells transcription complex. The T cells transcription complex plays a vital role in inducing gene transcription during the immune response.

General Notes
Rabbit anti Human NFATC2 antibody recognizes nuclear factor of activated T-cells, cytoplasmic 2.NFATC2 is a 100 kDa member of the nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) family normally located to the cytosol. However, upon T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation NFATC2 is translocated to the nucleus where it becomes a member of the Nuclear factors of activated T cells transcription complex. The T cells transcription complex plays a vital role in inducing gene transcription during the immune response (Rao et al. 1997).
