Mouse monoclonal [PNL2] antibody to PNL2.

This is a novel monoclonal antibody that stains melanocytes and tumors derived therefrom. This antibody recognizes a different antigen to Melan A and gp100 and its epitope is not destroyed by digestion with neuraminidase (i.e. its epitope is not glycosylated). This antibody labels intra-epidermal nevi while the dermal component of compound nevi are largely non-reactive. This antibody is a useful tool for the identification of melanomas and clear cell sarcomas.
