Anti-Spectrin Antibody [AA6 (7A3)]

Mouse monoclonal [AA6 (7A3)] antibody to Spectrin.

This antibody recognises spectrin alpha chain, non-erythrocytic 1, also known as Alpha-II spectrin and Fodrin alpha chain, encoded by the SPTAN1 gene. recognises both chicken spectrin and the alpha chain of non-erythroid spectrin in mammalian cells. Mouse anti Chicken spectrin, clone AA6 reacts with the 240 kDa full length spectrin alpha, the ~150 kDa, 145 kDa characteristic breakdown products of calpain and caspase-3 and the ~120 kDa product, a result of caspase-3 activation.
