Anti-TCR alpha + TCR beta Antibody [TCR-3]

Mouse monoclonal [TCR-3] antibody to TCR alpha + TCR beta.

This antibody recognises chicken TCR a/ß expressed on peripheral blood T cells. Two distinct subpopulations of a/ß T cells appear in the chicken thymus subsequent to the appearance of ?/d T cells. These subpopulations, originally denoted as TCR2 and TCR3 arise sequentially in the thymus during ontogeny and are now known to represent two distinct Vß families, Vß1 and Vß2, respectively. Mouse anti Chicken TCRa/ß antibody, clone TCR-3 is specific for the Vß2.
