This antibody recognises PHD finger protein 20, also known as hepatocellular carcinoma-associated antigen 58 or transcription factor TZP.PHF20 functions as a transcriptional regulator of genes targeted by the MYST family of histone acetyltransferases and is a core component of the male absent on the first (MOF)- non-specific lethal (NSL) lysine acetyltransferase complex. The MOF-NSL complex acetylates histone H4 at lysine 16 and is required for transcriptional regulation and DNA repair.
