General Notes
Rabbit anti Human WDR5 antibody recognizes WD repeat-containing protein 5.WDR5 is a member of the WD repeat protein family. WD repeats are thought to aid the formation of heterotrimeric or multiprotein complexes. WD repeat proteins play a role in a number of cellular processes, such as signal transduction, gene regulation, cell cycle progression and apoptosis (Patel-King and King, 2016). WDR5 expression is vital for vertebrate development. In human cells, WDR5 is also required for binding of the methyltransferase complex to the Lys4-di-methylated H3 tail and global H3 Lys4 tri-methylation (Wysocka et al. 2005).
