Specificity
This antibody recognises the envelope protein of the wild (Asibi) and vaccine strains of yellow fever virus. Mouse anti Yellow fever virus antibody, clone 2D12 has been reported to have neutralizing activity against the Asibi strain. No cross reactivity with other flaviviruses has been reported.
