Anti-YKL-40 / CHI3L1 Antibody [G06-10H11]

Mouse monoclonal [G06-10H11] antibody to YKL-40 / CHI3L1.

This antibody recognises YKL-40, also known as chitinase-3-like protein 1, 39kDA synovial protein and cartilage glycoprotein 39. YKL-40 is a glycoprotein and a member of the mammalian chitinase-like proteins. It is expressed by a variety of cells including macrophages, neutrophils, chondrocytes, fibroblasts, vascular smooth muscle cells, endothelial cells and epithelials cells. YKL-40 induces the maturation of monocytes to macrophages and is secreted by macrophages during late stages of differentiation and by activated macrophages. It has also been shown to be an adhesion and migration factor for vascular cells. The purified Mouse anti Human YKL-40 antibody, clone G06-10H11 (MCA6290GA) can be used as a capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA with the biotinylated Mouse anti Human YKL-40 antibody, clone G03-2H1 (MCA6291B) as the detection antibody.
