The biological activity was determined by measuring the dose dependent activation of STAT3 in human epidermal keratinocytes (HEK2a cells). Significant STAT3 activation is observed with >100 ng/ml of Interleukin-20 recombinant mouse, corresponding to a specific activity of 10,000 U/mg of Interleukin-20 recombinant mouse.
