Chickens were immunized with highly purified cervid IgG isolated from normal pooled deer and elk serum. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbent.
