Name
Anti-CD79a Antibody [HM57]
Description
Mouse monoclonal [HM57] antibody to CD79a.
Specificity
This antibody recognises an epitope within the cytoplasmic domain of CD79a. CD79a, also known as mb-1, is a 45 kDa protein that is expressed by B lymphocytes during differentiation from early pre-B cell stage through to plasma cells. The CD79a molecule associates with CD79b (B29) to form a heterodimer that is non-covalently linked to surface immunoglobulin, forming the B-cell receptor (BCR) complex. The CD79a/CD79b heterodimers are also necessary for intracellular signaling following antigen-binding to surface immunoglobulin.
Applications
WB, IHC-P, Flow Cytometry, IHC-Fr
Dilutions
FC 1: 1:50 for 0.1 mg, 0.2 mg, 1:10 for 1 ml, 25 µg - 1:100 for 0.1 mg, 0.2 mg, 1:25 for 1 ml, 1:50 for 25 µg, IHC-P 2: 1:100 - 1:500, Use 10µl of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100µl.
