Principle of Assay
alpha-Ketoglutarate dehydrogenase converts alpha-ketoglutarate, NAD+, and coenzyme A into succinyl-CoA, carbon dioxide, and NADH. Activity is determined from the rate of NADH formation at 340 nm.
