Pre-stained protein ladder. Covers the size range 10-180 kDa (Tris-glycine-SDS running buffer). Number of bands = 11. Single colour with enhanced intensity at approximately 25 kDa and approximately 72 kDa. Designed for monitoring SDS-PAGE separation and WB transfer efficiency. Thaw at room temperature or 37-40°C for a few minutes prior to use to dissolve precipitated solids. Do not boil. Do not heat, dilute, or add reducing agent before loading. Mix thoroughly.

Recommended Dilutions
Load 5 µl/well (mini-gels) or 10 µl/well (large gels). For WB load 2.5 µl and 5 µl, respectively.

The prestained protein ladder contains 11 proteins in the range 10-180 kDa. Two reference bands with increased intensity are included at 25 and 72 kDa. The apparent molecular weight of each protein was determined by calibration against an unstained protein ladder for each electrophoresis condition.
