Chickens were immunized with highly purified cervid IgG isolated from derr/elk serum. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbent and conjugated to horseradish peroxidase.
