Human Chlamydia pneumoniae IgG ELISA Kit (A247212) employs an enzyme immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human Chlamydia pneumoniae IgG in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 96-well microtiter plate is coated with capture antibodies or antigens specific for Chlamydia pneumoniae IgG. Samples are added and incubated, followed by washing and addition of enzyme-conjugated detection molecules. TMB substrate is added to produce a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after acidic stop solution. The presence or absence of yellow color indicates the presence or absence of Chlamydia pneumoniae IgG in the sample.
