Principle of Assay
Human Enteric Cytopathic Human Orphan Virus IgM ELISA Kit (A247219) is a 3 hour trapping Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (tELISA) designed for the in vitro qualitative detection of human Enteric Cytopathic Human Orphan Virus IgM in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. A 96-well microtiter plate has been pre-coated with an assay-specific trapping reagent. Samples are added to the wells, where Enteric Cytopathic Human Orphan Virus IgM is captured by the immobilized trapping reagent. Following incubation, unbound components are removed by washing and an assay-specific detection reagent is added. This detection reagent binds the captured Enteric Cytopathic Human Orphan Virus IgM to form a trapped immune complex. After further incubation and washing, TMB substrate solution is added to visualize the enzyme-mediated reaction. This produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow following addition of acidic stop solution. The presence or absence of colour indicates the presence or absence of Enteric Cytopathic Human Orphan Virus IgM in the sample.
