Principle of Assay
Human Layilin ELISA Kit is based on the quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technique to measure concentration of human LAYN in the samples. A monoclonal antibody specific for human LAYN has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standard, samples and HRP-linked detect antibody specific for LAYN are pipetted into the wells and LAYN present is bound by the immobilized antibody and detect antibody following incubation. After washing, substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of LAYN bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
