Recombinant Terminal Deoxynucleotidyl Transferase / TdT Protein (Functional)
Applications
Functional Studies
Assay Type
Quantitative
Principle of Assay
This assay uses fluorescein as a fluorescent probe and generates hydroxyl radicals through a Fenton reaction. Antioxidants inhibit radical-mediated probe damage, and the resulting fluorescence change is used to assess hydroxyl radical scavenging capacity.
Platform
96-Well Microplate
Sample Type
Serum, plasma, animal tissues, and plant tissues
Assay Time
1-2 hours
Components
Assay Buffer (2X), Reagent I (100X), Reagent II (32X), Reagent III, Trolox Standard (5 mM)
Storage
Shipped at 4°C. Store at-20°C in the dark. Do not use past expiration date!
General Notes
A Black 96-well microplate is required for this assay.
